What’s on- Your weekend in Singleton

THE Yancoal Singleton Art Prize featuring prominent and up-and-coming Australian artists and up to 650 of their paintings kicks off this weekend.

Staring from tomorrow night, art folk have five days to catch the famous exhibit, which has been running for 38 years.

The Singleton Diggers Club is also hosting an “80s to the max” party on Saturday night. Dress ups and nostalgic dancing is highly encouraged.
Truffle lovers are invited to enjoy a five course meal at the Margan Restaurant and Winery in Broke this weekend, as part of their Winter fungi celebration.
Those who want to relax and enjoy the sweet outdoors can attend a 1.5 hour yoga and meditation class at the Yoga Shed on Sunday afternoon.
Remember to wear a mask whilst indoors and keep up to date on all current Public Health Orders.

Art n Sip

What: Bring out your inner art enthusiast and sommelier as you sip your way through an afternoon learning and painting in the seclusion of a Hunter Valley boutique vineyard. Have some fun with family, friends, or colleagues enjoying a vineyard tour, a private Greenway Wines tasting along with a generous cheese and charcuterie plate, and the experience of painting your very own masterpiece! All materials are provided. The best thing is, there is no right or wrong and no experience necessary.

It continues to feature prominent and up-and-coming Australian artists. In a typical year an average of 800 visitors pass through the Singleton Civic Centre over five days to enjoy up to 650 paintings, resulting in substantial art sales and great exposure for our sponsors;

Outdoor Yoga and Meditation

What: A long session 1.5 hour yoga and meditation class that takes advantage of the ample ventilation outdoors, located on The Yoga Shed lawn amongst native trees and permaculture while enjoying stunning mountain vistas;
